What can you do to combat sexual violence on campus?
Be an active bystander. When you're out with friends on a Friday or Saturday night, you can be your brothers' and sisters' keeper. Active bystander intervention works. A recent five-year study funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found 50 percent reductions in sexual violence in Kentucky high schools that implemented Green Dot. We don't have to do everything, but we all have to do something. |
It's On UsJoining with the White House, our It's On Us campaign promotes awareness, active bystander intervention techniques, and survivor support. Come to our office (203 LaFortune Student Center) to pick up promotional materials.
